On Thursday, May 1, you're going to find your "recently added" playlist all
messed up agian. From May 1 through 4, it'll hold an eclectic selection of
the music you've added this year. On the fifth, however, the list will be
precise. From May 6 through 12, it's going to be empty, but from the
thirteenth on it will be back in full glory...
So this is my workaround: Each day as you turn on your PC, double-click the
watch on the task bar and set the date to May 5, 2008. Of course, all the
mails you send and files you update will get the worng date, and you may have
trouble playing DRM'ed content, but WMP's "recently added" feature will
work...
Alternatively, you can set your Windows locale to English (U.S.) (go to
"Control Panel" > "Language and Regional Settings") and make WMP reimport
your music library. Of course, dates and decimal numbers will appear strange,
but WMP's "recdently added" feature will work...
One wonders why Microsoft even bothered making a Danish version of WMP 11
when it was never intended to work outside the U.S. And why they invented
other locales than "English (U.S.)" since that is the one you have to choose
if you want their software to actually work...
Okay this IS the sickest video I have ever seen. If somebody can top this I NEEED to see it....
